Bids will be received for a Stipulated Sum Contract for the General Construction.
Bidders may acquire complete sets of Contract Documents from Shannon Hines, Chief Clerk,
(Telephone 717-582-5105) upon deposit of $100 per set (plus $25.00 for shipping). Deposit will be
refunded upon return of documents to the Owner in good condition within 10 days after bid due
date. No refund will be made if a bid is not submitted, Contract Documents not returned on time, or
if Contract Documents are marked, defaced, damaged, or not bound in proper order.
Contract Documents may be examined at the Veterans Memorial Building, 25 East Main Street,
New Bloomfield by appointment (Tel: 717-582-5105). Bid Form blanks, and other pertinent bid
forms, may be acquired from Shannon Hines, Chief Clerk.
Each bidder must furnish a bid security in the form of a Bid Bond (AIA 310 Document) or certified
check made payable to Perry County, in an amount equal to 10 percent of the bid. No bidder may
withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish guaranty bonds in the form of a Performance Bond
and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the bid.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality,
irregularity, error, or omission in connection therewith.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at a time and place specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
This Project will be subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
