Note: The one lane bridge on State Park Road is scheduled to be closed for replacement from March 11 to April 21. You will need to enter the park from rt 34 onto State Park Road if you are going to the East Area parking lot (mill, covered bridge, stage, main boat launch). If you are headed to the park office, Blueball Tavern or the main picnic area please use Little Buffalo Road.

Time: 1:30pm-2:30pmContact: Ben Ranney, Park NaturalistDescription: Bring a clean, DRY 1 liter or 24 oz soda bottle with the cap, and we’ll help you turn it into a bird feeder for the winter months. Participants bring a DRY bottle, all other supplies provided. (Bottles must be clean and dry.) We have the spotting scope set up to watch the feeders and we’ll also learn a little about what sort of seeds attract which species of birds. Meet at the park office NOTE: event may be cancelled due to weather related travel issues. If event is cancelled due to weather concerns, there will be a notification on the park’s answering machine.
