Summary of Job Description

Perry County is accepting applications for a full time Coordinator for the Emergency Management Department.  Associate’s degree with one to two years emergency service experience, including supervisory experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Must attain various certifications including National Incident Management System, Hazardous Materials, Federal Emergency Management Association, and Radiological Response Team.  Must obtain PA PEMA Basic Coordinator Certification and successfully pass a certification exercise within one year from the date of employment as EMA/911 coordinator.
